Lazio have announced their final squad for the Europa League, leaving out both Gaetano Castrovilli and Elseid Hysaj.
The Aquile are in the new and expanded League Phase of the tournament, which for them begins with Dynamo Kyiv on neutral turf on September 25.
They host Nice on October 3, are away to FC Twente on October 24, welcome FC Porto on November 7 and Ludogorets on November 28, visit Ajax on December 12, host Real Sociedad on January 23 and finish in Braga on January 30.
There were a few doubts for coach Marco Baroni to whittle down the squad for the list, and he has been forced to leave out free agent Castrovilli, who instead is included in the Serie A group.
It is another new signing – Loum Tchaouna from Salernitana – who is in the Europa League squad, while in Serie A he can be included as an Under-22 player.
Pedro had been a doubt, but is included in both teams, while Elseid Hysaj is cut from both.
Lazio have a very limited selection because there are so few home-grown players, but Under-22 players can be used in the B List.
There have to be four players from their own academy and four players who grew up in other Italian clubs, but with so few fitting that bill, Lazio have a limited squad of 22 players.

We’re not good in developing our home grown players. Nesta was the last one. Sad but true.
Baroni OUT ! Imagine leaving out Castrovilli and putting some failure from Salerno!
