Lazio dropped a hint that Maurizio Sarri’s official announcement is imminent by posting a cigarette on Twitter and asking if anyone has a light.
SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla has reported the Biancocelesti have reached an agreement with the former Napoli and Juventus coach over a two-year deal worth €3m a season.
The Biancocelesti then fuelled the expectations on Twitter by posting a cigarette, and then following up with the question: “Who has a light?”
Sarri is known for being a heavy smoker and had to find an alternative way of feeding his addiction at Chelsea, where smoking is banned at Premier League grounds.
