Lazio have announced that defender Alessio Romagnoli has been diagnosed with a fractured nose after a clash during the win over Torino.

The central defender was able to play the full 90 minutes in the 2-0 Serie A victory at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

He was taken to the Paideia International Hospital for tests and the X-Rays showed a fracture of the bones in his nose.

Romagnoli will be monitored on a daily basis and should be able to play this weekend with the aid of a protective mask.

  1. Have they goven at least a yellow? I have a feeling that the foul was brished of instead of cautioned and I’d argue that(depending on context), braking an opponents body part(yes including the nose) could be a possible red. Let’s say Mancinis elbow today against the Genoa player. It was a clear intent to elbow, by purpose and he was allowed to go with a yellow. 2nd time he did it bothing happened. Luckily Genoa humiliated them anyway
