According to Sky Sport Italia, Lazio have now raised their offer to €7m and it is very close to Feyenoord’s €9m asking price.
It is believed that another meeting on Sunday will help push through the strategy and on Monday the agreement could be reached for €8m.
De Vrij had also been linked with Manchester United last month.
