Filip Djordjevic believes Lazio ‘have all the qualities’ to match Juventus when the two meet in the Supercoppa Italiana tomorrow.

The showpiece event will take place in Shanghai, and sees Coppa Italia and Serie A winners Juve face off against the Aquile, runners-up in the cup.

“Juventus have replaced big departures with top players,” Biancocelesti striker Djordjevic told Corriere dello Sport.

“We haven’t changed much, we know each other well and we’ve worked hard to prepare for this game. It’s a final, you never know what will happen.

“We’re playing in another country in front of a new crowd, it’s a special occasion to win. I didn’t expect this much enthusiasm, it’s good to see so many people out here [in China] love Lazio.

“We have confidence, and we know what we have to do. Lazio have all the qualities to match Juve.”

The Serbian striker could have won the Coppa Italia for his side, but amazingly hit both posts, and admits he’s out for revenge tomorrow.

“The double post in the Coppa Italia final represents a personal vengeance. After the game I couldn’t believe the ball hadn’t gone in, if I have a chance in this game I hope I’ll score.

"Juve are used to winning trophies in recent years, we haven’t won a lot, so we’ll give everything to win. A victory in the Supercoppa would give us more confidence for the season ahead.”
