Lazio are turning their focus to Rostov’s Angolan defender Bastos, as Mauricio is in talks with Trabzonspor and Bursaspor.
The transformation of the squad continues apace this summer, particularly when it comes to the defence.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Aquile have made a proposal worth €4m to Rostov in order to sign their centre-back Bastos.
The 24-year-old Angola international has been in Russia since July 2013.
He appears to be replacing Mauricio, who is heading towards Turkey.

“Lazio are talking to Trabzonspor and Bursaspor for the free loan of Mauricio,” FIFA agent Ayhan Yesilibas told Radyo Sporda today.
Mauricio arrived from Sporting CP for €2.65m in January 2015, but has become better known for howlers and red cards than impressive performances in a Lazio jersey.
