Lazio have reportedly approached Real Madrid to purchase centre-forward Borja Mayoral, claim Sky Sport Italia.
The 23-year-old came up through the Merengues youth academy, but has been out on loan since 2016 to Wolfsburg, then spending two years at Levante.
He scored eight goals in 33 Liga games this season and is under contract until June 2021.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the fact Mayoral’s contract is about to run down makes him an appetising prospect on the transfer market.
