Lazio have appealed the sentence ‘for violation of the COVID protocol’ to the FIGC Court of Appeal.

The Federal Court had condemned President Claudio Lotito for the swab case and the owner has been suspended for seven months.

Lazio, who were charged for violations of federal regulations and a lack of observance of the health protocols in force were also fined €150,000.

Meanwhile, the club doctors Fabio Rodia and Ivo Pulcini were punished with a 12-month suspension from their positions.

The Aquile have now presented their appeal the sentence to the FIGC Court of Appeal.
