Inter could still be in for Ashley Young from Manchester United, despite Leonardo Spinazzola’s arrival from Roma, as Valentino Lazaro is in doubt.

Spinazzola had his medical this morning, as did Matteo Politano for the exchange deal with Roma, so many thought that would resolve the Nerazzurri’s issues at left wing-back.

However, Young is still on Antonio Conte’s wish-list and ready to make the move from Manchester United for a minimal fee, as he’ll be out of contract in June.

According to FCInterNews.it, that is because Lazaro could leave San Siro just six months after his €22.5m transfer from Hertha Berlin.

The 23-year-old Austria international has made only 11 competitive appearances for Inter, most of them off the bench, providing two assists.

He largely struggled to get to grips with Conte’s tactics and work-rate, proving to be more adept at going forward than defending.

It’s reported Lazaro received requests for information from West Ham United and Werder Bremen, so could be allowed to leave on loan with option to buy.
