Atalanta have agreed terms with Milan and Uruguay left-back Diego Laxalt ahead of a loan with option to buy.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira reports a five-year contract worth €1.5m a season was agreed between Laxalt’s camp and Atalanta on Wednesday morning.
The Champions League qualifiers can now close a season-long loan for the Uruguayan, which includes a €12m option to buy.
The option would become permanent the 26-year-old meets certain, performance-related objectives.

Laxalt joined Milan for an initial €14m last summer but went on to make just six Serie A starts for the Rossoneri.
