The Viola are continuing legal action against Salah for leaving his loan spell from Chelsea early, as they claim he missed the deadline to oppose an extended stay over the summer.

Fiorentina director Daniele Prade said on Friday that FIFA would rule on the situation soon, suggesting the Egypt international could still be banned and heavily fined for breach of contract.

Salah’s lawyer, Ramy Abbas, responded to a Viola fan on Twitter.

“If Salah becomes suspended in December due to this Fiorentina story, I will make kebabs in public in Firenze for one whole day.”

The Fiorentina fans protested against the club with a large banner outside the training ground.

‘Tick Tock… Tick Tock… Time is up. As clients, we consider it to be a transfer strategy of peasants.’
