Lautaro Martinez has no intention of leaving Inter in the summer but the club cannot make any guarantees about his future.
The 24-year-old Argentinian forward is having a good season in the Lombardy capital under coach Simone Inzaghi, scoring 19 goals in 33 Serie A appearances, and he’s done well to help the fans forget about Romelu Lukaku. Apart from a mid-season goal drought, Lautaro has been a key part of the Nerazzurri’s Scudetto challenge.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lautaro doesn’t want to leave Inter in the summer and will not push for a transfer. He feels central to Inzaghi’s project and enjoys life in Milan.
Unfortunately for him, Inter cannot make any guarantees about his future; should some serious offers arrive for Lautaro in the summer, the Nerazzurri would have to genuinely consider them. Whilst their initial intention isn’t to sell the 24-year-old, it’s impossible to rule out a super offer tempting them to give the green light to a deal.
