Inter have scheduled a second meeting with Alejandro Camano, the agent of Lautaro Martinez, as they push to agree a new contract in the coming days.

The Nerazzurri met the Argentine star’s representative at a hotel in Milan on Thursday afternoon to try and agree the terms of a new deal for the striker, whose current contract expires in June 2026. The decision was made not to meet at the club’s headquarters to avoid the predicted media buzz.

Inter are hoping to tie down Lautaro Martinez to a new long-term contract worth around €9-10m net per season including add-ons, whilst his agent is pushing for a €12m net deal that rises over the years. No agreement was reached in the initial negotiations, but the club haven’t given up.

Lautaro Martinez contract

Page six of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inter do not want to enter the pre-season preparations without setting up a new contract for Lautaro Martinez, so have booked in a new meeting with Camano for the coming days, pushing to try and set up a new deal.

Whilst the club don’t want to rush things too much, they’ve asked his agent to speed things up in order to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
