Lautaro Martinez hasn’t forgotten about the penalty kicked he missed in the Milan derby, as he celebrated his goal against Napoli by apologising to Inter fans.

The Argentinean hadn’t scored for more than a month as his last strike was dated back to October 2, in a 2-1 win over Sassuolo.

He had also missed a penalty kick in the Derby della Madonnina against Milan that saw Inter pick a 1-1 draw.

The 24-year-old ended his goal drought in the second half of the game against Napoli, but oddly celebrated by apologising to his fans.

According to DAZN, Lautaro made amends because of the many errors in front of the goal during the last month, especially the penalty kick miss against Milan.

The Nerazzurri snatched a 3-2 win over Napoli at San Siro, moving four points behind the Partenopei and Milan on top of the Serie A table.

  1. He has apologized and he has been forgiven. Hakan or DiMarco must now be firmly in front of him for PK duties though.
