Lautaro Martinez’s agent is in Milan and expected to meet Inter within the next 48 hours to discuss a new contract, as a large gap remains between offer and demand.

It is not necessarily a job to be rushed, considering the striker is under contract at San Siro until June 2026, but still something the club needs to resolve before next season begins.

Multiple reports state that agent Alejandro Camano has landed in Milan and is expected to meet with the directors within the next 48 hours in what ought to be a potentially decisive encounter.

How much Lautaro Martinez earns

Lautaro Martinez currently earns €6m per season and it is reported Inter are offering him €8m, whereas the request is anywhere from €10-12m, depending on the source.

That is even considered a starting point, with the wages climbing up to €16m per season at the end of the contract.

This meeting should go some way to getting some more accurate figures on what exactly the Argentina international is looking for and whether that gap can be bridged by an agreement.

Performance-related bonuses could be key to getting the situation resolved, then there is the issue of whether Lautaro Martinez wants to introduce a release clause into his contract.
