Alejandro Camano, the agent of Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has recently spoken of his client’s love for the Nerazzurri and has issued a positive update about a potential contract renewal.
Martinez has been in fine form since the start of the 2023-24 season and currently leads the Serie A goalscoring charts with an impressive haul of nine goals from seven matches. The Argentine added four within the space of half an hour during Saturday’s 4-0 win over Salernitana.
On top of having helped Inter on their way to the Champions League final last season, the 26-year-old was appointed as the club’s captain over the summer and his love for the team is now said to be stronger than ever.
“He’s happy, he’s exactly where he wants to be and with Inter’s project, which is really ambitious. He has a brilliant relationship with his teammates and with the technical staff,” Camano said in an exclusive interview with FCInter1908.
“Ultimately, he is in a high-level, long-term project from one of the biggest clubs in Europe. And he is also very happy in his private life, with a wonderful family,” the agent continued.
Then, Camano offered an insight into suggestions that a new contract offer could be on its way in the near future. Though there have not yet been any official talks, all the signs point in one direction.
“We will work on it with Inter, but I can confirm that he really loves the club and that he doesn’t want to leave this excellent team.”
