La Gazzetta Dello Sport provides the latest updates on Paul Pogba’s injury, suggesting that the France international could be back for the big match against Napoli on January 13.

The former Manchester United midfielder underwent meniscus surgery in September and was therefore forced to miss out on the World Cup with Les Blues.

He hasn’t yet made his first competitive appearance since his return to Juventus in the summer and according to Gazzetta, he could make his ‘second’ debut in an away clash at Napoli on January 13.

Pogba is training separately at Continassa and according to the report, he should join his teammates and work with the group in a couple of weeks.

Juventus’ Serie A campaign resumes on January 4 away at Cremonese, while the first home match of 2023 is three days later against Udinese.

Pogba and Juventus doctors have not set an exact date for a return to action, but the France midfielder hopes to be available for the big match against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona on January 13.
