Romelu Lukaku’s holidays have come to an end and the Belgian striker will begin his pre-season at the Pinetina tomorrow.

The Belgian striker spent the last couple of weeks on holiday after his national team were eliminated by Italy in the quarter-finals of UEFA Euro 2020.

Lukaku is now ready to return to Milan where he will train for the first time this season under new coach Simone Inzaghi on Monday.

“Last moment in the pool. I had to tell the homies about my vacation. Time to go home now,” the former Manchester United striker wrote on Instagram.

Lukaku, 28, has scored 64 goals in 95 appearances with the Nerazzurri since his €74m move from Manchester United in the summer of 2018.

His contract at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza expires in June 2024 and although Chelsea have been linked with securing his services, Inter do not want to sell another one of their stars after Achraf Hakimi’s €71m move to PSG.
