Iceland completed their fairytale Euro 2016 with a last-gasp victory after Austria missed a penalty and will now face England.
It was almost a spectacular start for Iceland, as within two minutes Johan Gudmundsson’s scorcher from 25 yards had smacked against the crossbar.
Austria had a great chance early doors too, as Hannes Hallordsson tried to dribble from six yards and was robbed by Marko Arnautovic, but the goalkeeper recovered with a goal-saving tackle.

Iceland took the lead with a fine take by Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, as Kari Arnason knocked back a free kick from the by-line and he controlled well to stroke home from eight yards.
Arnautovic nodded over and Austria were awarded a penalty for Ari Skulason holding down David Alaba, but Aleksandar Dragovic stepped up and fired the penalty against the upright.
Sigurdsson drilled wide and Arnason was decisive with his block on Alaba.
Austria did secure an equaliser when substitute Alessandro Schöpf waltzed through the hasty Icelandic defence to fire home undisturbed.
The Austrian pressure increased, as they needed a victory, and Marc Janko fired wide from close range and Schöpf forced a difficult save.
Alaba’s attempt was tipped over the bar and Iceland seemed to be clinging on for dear life, but right at the death Traustason struck with a classic counter-attack to give them the shock victory. This set up a Round of 16 clash between Iceland and England.
