The Bianconeri said they have no intention of selling the 22-year-old, but could waver with a €100m offer.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Juve put the bidding war on hold until after the Barcelona Presidential election on July 18.

“All I said is that I have an excellent rapport with (Pogba’s agent Mino) Raiola,” noted Laporta today.

“I don’t think Juventus will do anything until there is a new President in charge of Barcelona. We will talk to the Italian club, but until there’s a new President they won’t want to discuss the matter.

“This is a clue that Juventus want to sell, if what they say is true. I don’t think they will get together with us until after July 19.”

Mundo Deportivo claims that two official meetings have taken place, one in April involving former patron Josep Maria Bartomeu and director Albert Soler and another between Ariedo Braida and Beppe Marotta last Monday.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with big-money moves for Pogba, but the midfielder is understood to be against the idea of joining either club.
