Barcelona President Joan Laporta has confirmed Lionel Messi will join Paris Saint-Germain. ‘I wanted him to stay, but it was impossible. I did my best’.
Laporta’s words is taken from a video during today’s meeting with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Juventus patron Andrea Agnelli.
“Messi will go to PSG, I would have liked it if he had stayed with us but it was impossible,” he said in the video, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Laporta thus announced the agreement between PSG and Messi, who will speak at a press conference tomorrow.
