Gianluca Lapadula has claimed Lecce’s match against SPAL will be “even more difficult” than the last two wins over Torino and Napoli.
The Giallorossi are currently three points above the relegation zone after beating Torino 4-0 at the Via del Mare, before following it up with a 3-2 win over Napoli last weekend.
The 30-year-old forward has scored three goals in the last two games and has taken his total tally to seven in 16 league games this term.

He admitted that the team have been “helped” by the arrival of players like Antonin Barak, Riccardo Saponara and Alessandro Deiola this winter.
“We knew it would be a complicated game against Napoli and that our opponents would start well,” he told the reporters. “During the first 30 minutes, we were compact and did well in suffering.
“The goal that gave us the lead helped our confidence and we came out playing well.
“The new players have helped us a lot.”
He revealed that the 3-0 defeat against Hellas Verona on January 26 changed the mentality at the Via del Mare and encourage his teammates to follow up the great results.
“The defeat against Verona triggered something in us,” he said. “We kick-started after that blow and we must continue down this road.”
On Saturday, Lecce are up against SPAL in the League and Lapadula has claimed the next match will be “even more difficult” than the one against the Partenopei.
“Saturday will be the game of our lives,” he said. “It will be even more difficult than the matches against Torino and Napoli.”
