Gianluca Lapadula helped Peru to a prestigious victory over Colombia in the World Cup qualifier, but the Benevento striker managed to break his nose again – despite a protective mask.

The incident occurred in last night’s match, which ended 1-0 thanks to a goal from Flores.

Lapadula clashed with Falcao and blood poured from under the protective mask he was already wearing due to a previous fracture.

Even that failed to protect him from further damage, which was extremely visible in the picture he released on his Instagram Stories.

Lapadula was born in Italy to an Italian father and Peruvian mother, so after being called up several times, accepted the offer to represent Peru at international level.

  1. dint he play for La Nazionale first ?

he might need to play with an entire helmet from now on.
