“I am happy on the one hand, but on the other disappointed about the result,” Lamanna told the official Genoa website.

“I am happy on the one hand, but on the other disappointed about the result,” Lamanna told the official Genoa website.

“During the week we sit down with Spinelli, Scarpi and Gasperini to study the characteristics of our opponents.

“When it comes to penalties, it’s useful to a certain degree, but then it becomes a lottery from the penalty spot.

“You need to be well prepared and also have a bit of luck and skill.”

The 25-year-old has made only three Serie A appearances this season, starting just one.

He’ll get more playing time, as first choice Mattia Perin is out of action for three weeks with a shoulder injury.
