18-year-old Juventus centre-back Dean Huijsen is attracting plenty of interest and recent reports suggest that he could be set to leave the Bianconeri on loan in the January transfer window.

According to reports from Calciomercato.com on Thursday morning, LaLiga side Granada are interested in taking the teenager in on a temporary basis until the end of the 2023-24 season.

Granada’s current sporting director is former Juventus chief scout Matteo Tognozzi, who had worked for the Old Lady since March 2018. Tognozzi has been credited with bringing Huijsen to Juve in the first place.

Huijsen also has strong roots in Spain, having relocated with his family from their native Amsterdam in 2010. Huijsen had spent six years in Malaga’s academy before being brought over to Turin.

Juventus still believe that the youngster has a big future at the Allianz Stadium. He was handed his Serie A debut as a late second half substitute during the 1-0 victory over Milan at San Siro back in October.

Calciomercato suggest that Juve would ideally like to keep Huijsen on until the end of the current season before making any decisions about a loan exit, but Granada will reportedly push to bring him in in January.
