Hirving Lozano could soon leave Napoli as Los Angeles FC work to close out a deal for the winger, reports from Mexico highlight.

The 28-year-old Mexican featured regularly under Luciano Spalletti in the Partenopei’s Scudetto winning campaign, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 2075 minutes across 41 total appearances.

With just a year left on his contract in the Campania capital, Napoli are not expected to offer a new deal to Lozano, making a sale this summer the best outcome for both parties.

As reported by Mexican outlet Wdeportes, LAFC are working hard to agree a deal with Napoli for Lozano, who is keen on the idea of making the move to the MLS.

The American side have offered him a four-year contract with a significant raise compared to his current deal in the Campania capital.

A number of other clubs are interested in signing Lozano this summer, including teams from Saudi Arabia and a few from England like Everton and Leeds United.
