MLS side LAFC have dropped a huge hint in relation to the potential signing of veteran Milan striker Olivier Giroud.

The LAFC social media accounts have posted a video featuring the club’s cap in a presentation box with a shipping address label that reads: “international mail”. The short clip was also accompanied by the caption: “Bonne Nuit.”

The video comes just after reports in Italy that Giroud has reached an agreement in principle for an 18-month contract with LAFC, which will begin in the summer.

Giroud, who will turn 38 in September, is tied to Milan until the end of the 2023-24 season, but it is widely expected that he will not sign an extension to his current deal with the Rossoneri.

The Frenchman will leave San Siro as a free agent come July 1, and is now expected to head to Los Angeles on a free transfer.

  1. He may be leaving Milan and I know as a Milan fan we will miss him but I find this unprofessional and rather tasteless by This MLS team. To drop hints about a player still owned by another club is foolish. There has been no official announcement from AC Milan or Oli so yeah very unprofessional.
