Milan met with the agent representing both Malick Thiaw and Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix, who has been repeatedly linked with them.

According to Calciomercato.com, agent Gordon Stipic visited the Milan headquarters this morning for a discussion with club directors.

Thiaw is under contract until June 2027, but it is by no means guaranteed that he will remain at San Siro next season after a disappointing campaign.

Bild report that Thiaw is of interest to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, though would not get the same level of playing time there.

Lacroix links with Milan and Juventus

Stipic also represents Lacroix, who has long been a target for the Rossoneri and turned 24 last month.

The Wolfsburg centre-back will be out of contract next summer, bringing his transfer value right down so the Germans will avoid losing him for free.

Lacroix made the move from FC Sochaux to Wolfsburg for €5m in the summer of 2020 and he also has a decent eye for goal, scoring four times in 26 Bundesliga appearances this season.

He would be seen as a young replacement for Simon Kjaer, who is coming to the end of his contract.

Milan face competition for Lacroix, who has also been mentioned around Juventus if Gleison Bremer is sold.
