The newly-promoted Tuscans won the Serie B tournament last season to secure their spot back in the top flight.

La Gumina arrived after a bidding war with Sampdoria and the ex-Palermo striker opened the scoring from a Giovanni Di Lorenzo cross.

Miha Zajc met Manuel Pasqual’s assist with a spectacular volley, while after the break Levan Mchedlidze knocked down the ball for defender Simone Romagnoli’s finish.
