Mamuka Jugeli, the agent of Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, ruled out a move to another Italian team but further hinted at a move to Real Madrid in the future.
The 21-year-old Georgian winger joined the Partenopei for the bargain price of €10m last summer, penning a five-year contract, and instantly proved himself as one of the most exiting players in Europe.
Kvaratskhelia is a key reason behind Napoli’s success this season and he has directly contributed to 27 goals in 26 matches – 12 goals and 13 assists.
Speaking to Youtube channel GeoTeam, Jugeli first discussed Kvaratskhelia’s happiness at Napoli and desire not to join another Italian team.
“Khvicha likes everything about Napoli and for the moment there’s nothing with other clubs. He will not move to any Italian club.
“I spoke to Khvicha and he confessed to me: ‘Mamuka, I will not play for another Italian team outside of Napoli’.
“Then I don’t know what will happen in 10-15 years, maybe Inter will call him and he’ll want to go there, but as of today he doesn’t want to know. In Italy, for him, there’s only Napoli.”
The agent then touched on his client’s love of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
“His father and I support Barcelona, but Kvara loves Real. If I saw him in a Barça shirt I would be very happy, but he is a Real Madrid fan.”
Kvaratskhelia has quickly become a fan favourite in the Campania capital and seems destined to join a top club at some point in the coming years, less than a year after emerging on the European scene.
For now, however, the Georgian winger is working hard to help Napoli win their first Scudetto since the days of Diego Armando Maradona.
