According to multiple reports in Italy, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s move to Napoli is a done deal with the 21-year-old who will replace Lorenzo Insigne.

Alfredo Pedullà, Calciomercato.com and Tuttomercatoweb claim the Georgia international will move to the Stadio Maradona at the end of the season. The versatile winger will reportedly sign a five-year deal with the Partenopei.

He will replace Lorenzo Insigne who is set to move to Toronto FC as a free agent at the end of the season.

Kvaratskhelia is currently playing for Dinamo Batumi after terminating his contract with Rubin Kazan. He has scored two goals in 23 appearances across all competitions this season.

  1. “Replace Lorenzo Insigne” – after scoring two goals in 23 games in a subpar league? Lol, yeah, okay.

  2. Mate, insigne has also scored like 2 non-pk goals this season lol. Though I suspect lozano/elmas will play down the left as first choice next season and Khvicha will be a rotation option until/if he proves of the necessary quality. In any case, good to see someone young come in.

  3. 1m63 Insigne vs 1m83 strong Kvaratskhelia with an explosive speed and technique. Insigne at 21 was not half as good as Kvara. He is your next Maradona. remember my words.

  4. Hyped about this transfer. Kvaratskhelia has crazy dribbling skills and he is very quick-thinking. Hope to see him soon in Napoli.
