Napoli are still waiting to hear back from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following their offer to triple his salary amidst interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 23-year-old Georgian winger’s father Badri and his agent Mamuka Jugeli hinted at a possible departure this summer due to frustrations regarding the club’s poor results in the 2023-24 season and his low wages of €1m net per season.

PSG are still on the hunt for a high-profile replacement for Kylian Mbappe and have set their sights on both Kvaratskhelia and Victor Osimhen, allegedly preparing a €200m offer for both. In the meantime, Napoli have proposed a new contract to the Georgian star.

Kvaratskhelia keeps Napoli waiting

Il Mattino via TMW details how Kvaratskhelia and his agent Jugeli still haven’t responded to Napoli’s latest offer of a five-year contract worth €3.5m net per season plus add-ons, which also includes a release clause starting from next summer.

The Partenopei aren’t too concerned for the time being, but new coach Antonio Conte would like the matter resolved soon in order to put full focus on the preparations for next season.
