Kvicha Kvaratskhelia really has been a revelation for Napoli this season, as only Diego Milito and Cristiano Ronaldo had better starts to their Serie A careers.

The 21-year-old Georgia international continued his amazing campaign today against Sassuolo at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

By half-time, he had provided two assists for Victor Osimhen goals and scored a third himself with a marvellous first touch.

That means that in his first 12 Serie A matches, Kvaratskhelia has been involved in 11 goals – scoring six and assisting five.

Since 2004-05, only Diego Milito at Genoa on 15 and Cristiano Ronaldo for Juventus with 13 had been involved in more Serie A goals during their first 12 appearances in the tournament.

However, Milito first came to Italy with Genoa in January 2004 and then in the 2004-05 season, both played in Serie B, so was already settled in the Peninsula by the time he made his Serie A debut in 2008.

Cristiano Ronaldo was a total newcomer to Italy when he came to Juventus in the summer of 2018.
