Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, confirms that PSG have sent an offer to sign the Georgian ace from Napoli.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Tuesday that PSG had offered €80m to sign Napoli star Kvaratskhelia. The winger’s agent has now confirmed that the Ligue 1 giants have made a formal bid to sign his client.

“Interest from Saudi clubs is not true, but there is interest and an offer from PSG. It all depends on Napoli and De Laurentiis,” Kvara’s agent told Georgian reporters as quoted by Alfredo Pedullà.

Kvaratskhelia’s agent confirms PSG offer for Napoli star

“The lad is now focused on the Euros and he wants to do well in Georgia’s first historic appearance in a major competition. He doesn’t want to be distracted by anything else.”

Napoli and Kvaratskhelia are in talks over a new deal.

The Georgian ace didn’t sign a new deal after Napoli won a historic Serie A title in 2022-23, so he still earns €1.5m per season.

Previous reports from Gazzetta claimed Kvara and his agent have requested a new €5m-a-year contract, while Napoli won’t offer more than €4m per season.

Kvara does not have a release clause in his deal at the Stadio Maradona and Napoli have not qualified for any European competition this season.

The Georgian star scored 11 goals and provided nine assists in 45 appearances across all competitions in 2023-24. His current deal at the Stadio Maradona runs out in 2027.
