“I played here many times as an opponent, so I know the atmosphere. I want to settle into the squad as soon as possible.
“I do need a little time to be at 100 per cent fitness, but I feel good and will soon find my form. I won’t be available for this weekend against Palermo, but I think 10 days will be enough to get me ready against Lazio.
“I chose shirt number 22 because I like it and I also wore this number at Basel.”
Udinese are fresh from a 4-0 home defeat to Juventus, a game that inaugurated the Dacia Arena.
“I saw that match, it wasn’t our best game, but I am sure we’ll recover. Antonio Di Natale is one of the best players in Serie A. I am happy to get the chance to play alongside him.”
