“Each player when at a great club is helped in his football to play without pressure. I went through a bad time in my career at Palermo, and I assure you that it is not easy to express yourself in certain settings.
“In Torino [last season] it was easier to play. I am motivated and I want to demonstrate my quality.
“I always give 100 per cent regardless of my role. However, I am a midfielder and I can play in all the positions there.
“Fiorentina have played a rare style of football in Italy in recent years. I cried when I learned of this transfer. I want to do my best, I am very happy to be here.”
