Alessandro Lucci, the agent of Leonardo Bonucci, Juan Cuadrado and Dejan Kulusevski, will likely be interviewed by the Turin Prosecutor as part of the investigation into possible Juventus fraud.

The investigation began several months ago into inflated transfer fees and has now spread to other areas of their financial dealings.

Paulo Dybala was the first Juventus player to answer questions at the Procura in Turin yesterday. Investigators believe some players didn’t really give up on their salaries for March, April and May 2020 (when Serie A was suspended due to COVID) but got the money anyway following private agreements with the club.

Dybala first Juventus player interviewed in fraud investigation

The problem is that Juventus allegedly didn’t communicate the payment of those salaries in the balance sheet or to the competent authorities. Their offices in Turin, Milan and Rome were raided by the Guardia di Finanza earlier this week. The same goes for the headquarters of the World Soccer Agency, which belongs to Alessandro Lucci, agent of Bonucci, Cuadrado, Mattia Perin and former Juventus winger Kulusevski who joined Tottenham in January.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lucci helped Juventus formulate private agreements with some footballers. Lucci has already been called by the prosecutor and could also be interviewed in the coming days. It’s important to remember that the agent himself is not under investigation, but is simply being called due to possible information.
