Juventus winger Dejan Kulusevski underwent surgery for sinusitis and needs at least one week of rest, meaning he will miss the matches against Malmö FF and Venezia.

Sky Sport Italia reports the Bianconeri winger underwent surgery in the morning to resolve the acute sinusitis of odontogenic origin.

Kulusevski will thus miss the match against Malmö in the Champions League tomorrow and will not be available for the away game in Venice on December 11.

The Swede has appeared in all five Champions League games this term and has played 14 of the 16 Serie A matches.

The 21-year-old has only been in the starting line-up four times in Serie A 2021-22 and now been ruled out for at least seven days.

Juventus are already through to the knockout stages of the Champions League, but could still finish first in the group, if they beat Malmö and Chelsea drop points against Zenit St Petersburg.

In Serie A, the Bianconeri have won four of their last five games sit fifth in Serie A, 11 points behind league leaders Milan.
