Napoli are dreaming of a move for Dejan Kulusevski and are hoping Antonio Conte can help to convince the Tottenham star of a move.

The Partenopei have started to heat up in the summer transfer window, picking up Alessandro Buongiorno and Rafa Marin, and are now looking to complete some sales to help fund their next targets, like Chelsea outcast Romelu Lukaku.

Napoli have agreed to send Jesper Lindstrom to Everton, setting up a €3-4m loan deal with a €21-22m buy option attached, and are now looking around for a viable replacement, wanting to keep Conte happy ahead of his first season in charge.

Napoli look to Kulusevski

Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com details how Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has identified Kulusevski as an interesting option to bolster Conte’s squad and has already started planning out a move.

The coach knows the Swedish forward well from their time together at Tottenham, where the 24-year-old showed some of his best football in North London.

Kulusevski is contracted to Tottenham to June 2028 and won’t come cheap, but Napoli are hoping that the Conte factor will help facilitate a deal.

  1. The Conte factor? If there is such a thing ,Kulu’s fee will be trebled. The man is an obnoxious ,egotistic oxygen thief who attempted to be as bad as Mourinhou. A pox on both of them.
