Dejan Kulusevski admits Juventus’ season was ‘frustrating,’ but insists he is proud of being part of the Bianconeri.

Kulusevski played his first season in a black and white shirt and managed seven goals and seven assists in 47 appearances in all competitions.

The former Parma and Atalanta man shared a message on Instagram to comment on his first season in Turin.

“End of a hard long season. It has been frustrating for us and our fans. We know that. We had high expectations but sometimes things go the other way,” the Sweden international wrote.

“If this season had a quote, I would say it would be ”The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

“It’s easy to smile and go hard when everything is working your way, but how do you react when your flow is all gone? We never quit, we do mistakes and all that for sure, but never quit. Never have, never will.

“That’s why at the end of the season we still proud of ourselves, we are hugging each other because together we achieved important results

“Proud of being part of this amazing club and blessed to keep chasing greatness.”

Juventus managed to earn a top four finish and won the Coppa Italia and the Italian Super Cup in Andrea Pirlo’s first season in charge as their coach.
