Rade Krunic is in the starting XI for Milan in tonight’s Trofeo Berlusconi against Monza, as Fenerbahce are nowhere near a deal, but Charles De Ketelaere is in the stands ahead of an Atalanta transfer.

The game will be played at the U-Power Stadium in Monza and is dedicated to the two Serie A clubs that Silvio Berlusconi owned in his lifetime.

Some of the choices made by coach Stefano Pioli are also linked to the latest developments in the transfer market.

As expected, De Ketelaere is in the stands and there are reports he will have his medical with Atalanta tomorrow.

That will be a loan move at €3m with an option to buy for a further €23m plus €4m in bonuses.

Meanwhile, Krunic is in the starting XI and that comes on the back of suggestions Fenerbahce are nowhere close to agreeing a fee for the midfielder.

Milan are demanding €10-12m for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international and have no intention of selling, even though Krunic has seemingly agreed personal terms with the Turkish club.

Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze are all on the bench.

Milan: Maignan; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao
