Milan midfielder Rade Krunic reportedly missed Bosnia-Herzegovina’s game against France on Wednesday due to an injury and will be assessed over the next few days.

Inter striker Edin Dzeko scored the opener against France, before Antoine Griezmann bagged the equaliser when the two nations shared the spoils in the World Cup Qualifiers.

The Rossoneri midfielder Krunic, however, was expected to play against Les Bleus but suffered an injury ahead of the game and was placed on the bench as an unused substitute.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the 27-year-old will be assessed by the Bosnian medical staff and his conditions are still uncertain ahead of the home game against Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

Krunic has been ever-present in Serie A so far this season, helping Milan pick up six points in a perfect start to the new campaign.

The point against the reigning world champions means Bosnia are stuck on two points after three qualifying games, six points behind France, who sit first in Group D.
