Kristensen paid for his flight to join Roma from Leeds – report

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Rasmus Kristensen was so keen to join Roma that he booked and paid for his flight to get to the capital from Leeds.

The Denmark international has joined the Giallorossi on loan until the end of the season. The Giallorossi have confirmed his signature on Friday.

Friday’s printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport (page 10) reports the Denmark international was so impatient about moving to Roma that he paid for his flight and informed Roma about his imminent arrival in the capital on Thursday evening.

He underwent medical examinations at Villa Stuart on Friday morning before signing his contract with José Mourinho’s side.

Kristensen has joined his ex-Leeds teammate Diego Llorente who has returned to the capital on a dry loan deal.

Both players moved to the Stadio Olimpico on loan until the end of the season thanks to a clause that allowed them to leave Leeds on a temporary transfer following the club’s relegation from the Premier League in 2022-23.
