Rasmus Kristensen has reportedly completed his medicals with Roma ahead of a transfer from Leeds United.

The 26-year-old Danish defender is ready to make the move to Serie A after the Giallorossi agreed to sign him on a loan deal with a €10m buy option attached from Leeds, who recently suffered relegation from the Premier League.

Roma finished just short in the Europa League final last season and Jose Mourinho is keen to fight for Champions League qualification in the coming campaign.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Kristensen has now completed his medicals and will soon put pen to paper on his contract with Roma.

TMW highlights how the Danish defender was so keen to make the move that he personally paid for a ticket on a commercial flight on Wednesday evening, notifying the club shortly before take-off.

Last season, Kristensen scored three goals and provided one assist in 26 Premier League appearances for Leeds.
