Milos Krasic has admitted that he made an error in turning down a January move away from Juventus.

The Serbian was linked with a number of clubs after falling out of favour in Turin, but he believed that he could win his place back in the starting XI.

“Zenit St Petersburg and Tottenham wanted me on loan in January, but I decided to stay and fight for my spot,” he told a Serbian newspaper. “I made a mistake, I should have left.”

The winger’s agent today suggested that the 27-year-old is set for a move to the Premiership in the summer.

And Krasic, a 2010 summer signing from CSKA Moscow, has confirmed that this will be his last season with the Old Lady.

“I’m not in the game here at Juventus, there is no space for me,” he added. “All that I can do is to continue to train so that I remain in shape ahead of next season.

“I’m disappointed that I have to leave Juventus, but boss Antonio Conte won’t consider me so leaving is the best decision for everyone.”
