Lazio’s attempts to sign Burak Yilmaz from Galatasaray could include cash plus Libor Kozak or Marius Stankevicius.
Lazio’s attempts to sign Burak Yilmaz from Galatasaray could include cash plus Libor Kozak or Marius Stankevicius.
The Biancocelesti are tracking the Swiss international striker, but have so far been unable to reach Galatasaray’s €15m asking price.
According to Calciomercato.it, Lazio could close the gap by including a player as part of the deal.
The combination would either be €12m plus Stankevicius or €5m plus Czech striker Kozak.
Kozak is only 24 years old and was a big hit in the Europa League last season, scoring 10 goals in 11 games.
He has also been linked with Udinese, Chievo and Sassuolo.
Another problem is represented by the terms of the financial transaction, as Galatasaray would prefer the money in bulk, whereas Lazio aim to pay in instalments over four years.
