Dawid Kownacki will get his wish and make the Fortuna Dusseldorf move permanent, claim Sky Sport Italia, with Sampdoria pocketing €9m.
The 22-year-old Poland international made the loan switch to Germany in January for €0.5m and scored four goals in 10 Bundesliga appearances.
He expressed his desire to remain in Dusseldorf and not return to Sampdoria, where he rarely got much playing time since joining from Lech Poznan in 2017.
