The Croatian playmaker has been one of the Nerazzurri’s better performers this season, and had been linked with the likes of Real Madrid.
However, his club has confirmed today that Kovacic has inked a new deal with the Beneamata, signing a two year extension to his previous contract.

However, his club has confirmed today that Kovacic has inked a new deal with the Beneamata, signing a two year extension to his previous contract.
“Mateo #Kovacic has extended his contract with Inter until 2019!” the club announced on its official Twitter page, accompanied by a picture of a smiling Kovacic.
There is no word yet on the terms of the new agreement, but the 20-year-old is likely to receive a significant increase to his €1.5m annual salary.
