Mateo Kovacic believes Inter can close the gap to Juventus, but admits they’ll ‘need a little luck’.
The Nerazzurri have invested heavily in the squad after finishing in a lowly eighth last season, and the Croatian midfielder sees signs of improvement.
“Last year we did badly, now we’ll build something new,” Kovacic told Inter Channel.
“We’ve got a lot of good lads, a lot of young players and a few with experience.

The 21-year-old also offered his opinion on his best role in the team.
“I’ve always enjoyed playing in front of the defence, and in fact I came to Inter to be a central midfielder. Then I was moved forward, and that’s where I’m currently deployed by the Coach [Roberto Mancini].”
