The club’s best player of the season is voted for by readers of the website and Kovacic left them a message upon receiving the trophy.

“I want to thank all the fans for this trophy, for me it was a pleasure and an honour to play for a big club like Inter,” he told FcInterNews.
“Thank you again to the club, all my coaches, and to all the fans because it's a beautiful thing to be voted for by you.
“I will always remain an Interista.”
